Rovio will open over 300 Angry Birds themed stores in China

Angry Birds is the most popular game for mobile platforms at the moment and the company's producers want to "monetize" this popularity. Last year they opened an online store where they started selling various toys and accessories for mobile terminals that embody the characters of the famous game. From these sales, Rovio won no less than 70 million dollars and now it considers that it is time to open it a chain of stores where else than in China, the country that probably has the most fans of the famous game.

In the next 3 years, over 200 Angry Birds themed stores will be built in China and through them will be sold accessories for mobile terminals, plush toys, t-shirts, pillows and many other products already available on the market. It may seem strange to you, but the CEO of Rovio claims that the goal of the company he leads is to become the most copied brand in China and maybe in a few years they will succeed in doing this. He considers that a copied brand is a famous brand, known by people, and that is what he wants to transform the Angry Birds brand into.
