Time Warner blocks jailbroken devices and related subscriptions

Hard times are coming for the jailbreak community because now not only Apple will fight against this legal practice. Time Warner chose to block access to the iPad application of all customers who have jailbroken their tablets. It doesn't matter that you have a subscription to Time Warner and that you pay for some services that you can't use with your jailbroken tablet, Time Warner blocks you and doesn't seem to have any interest in changing its policy. Time Warner is the first large American company to resort to such measures against iPad owners and the precedent is dangerous because other companies could make similar decisions.

Until now, only Apple blocks jailbreak solutions, but if developers start doing the same thing, then things will get very complicated for us. Fortunately, administrator access to the system implies the possibility to modify anything, so a developer made a tweak that annihilates the Time Warner protection system. The problem is now solved, but who knows how long it will take until Apple finds new ways to block users' access to Applications.
