Apple is trying to block the sale of HTC terminals in the US

After the lawsuits filed against those from Samsung, Apple now wants to to block and sales of HTC terminals in the USA. Apple has submitted a request to the International Trade Commission in the USA in which it requests the blocking of sales of certain HTC terminals running Android OS. Of course, this blocking of sales is limited only to the American territory, where Apple has an identical request introduced against those from Samsung whom they accused of having copied several elements from iOS and the design of iDevices.

Apple on Monday filed a new patent complaint with the International Trade Commission looking to block the sale of several HTC devices it claims infringe on its patents, Bloomberg reports.

In the last fiscal quarter, HTC had a record profit of 608 million dollars and it seems that Apple wants to limit the income of those from HTC through this request. Of course, the chances of winning the case and blocking sales of HTC terminals are small, but Apple must try to show that no one gets away easily if they make the decision to copy the design of an iDevice when producing a new smartphone. If we follow the same trend, it means that we should soon see similar measures taken by Apple against manufacturers such as LG or Sony Ericsson.
