The Microvision company presented a new laser pico projector compatible with iDevices and called SHADOWW+™. The device allows the connection of iDevices through a special connector, but it is also equipped with an HDMI port so that any other computer can be easily connected to it. The Pico projector from Microvision is able to display images with a resolution of up to 848×480 at a maximum distance of 200 inches, but the main device must be able to display images in 480p format.
SHADOWW+™ uses a 15 lumen lamp to display images and its own battery can keep it active for a maximum of 2 hours of constant use. Such a device would be very useful for those who have to make quick presentations and do not have a computer nearby, but have an iPad tablet or an iPhone on which they have an Excel, Word or PDF document with important information. Of course, we can project any images using this device, but in order to purchase it, we have to take no less than $369 out of our pocket. The device is not yet available on the market but a pre-order can be made here.
