Many iDevice owners would like to be able to view flash content on their own terminals. Of course, Apple does not allow this, but browsers such as Skyfire or Puffin solve the problem, but only partially. Skyfire allows us to view video clips from almost any website, but in terms of displaying flash content, it does not perform exceptionally well. Puffin, on the other hand, displays flash content on any site and, in addition, allows us to view video clips in a flash player or in a player optimized for our iDevices.
Puffin is, as far as I know, the only browser that displays flash content on iDevices and is the only one that allows us to view videos in flash players. Unfortunately, the option to see flash does not automatically mean that the experience of surfing the web or watching a movie will be that great. Puffin displays the content, plays the movies, but if you look at the video clip above, you will notice that for now the browser is far from being really usable. The Puffin browser connects to the servers of the developer company to deliver the flash content and with a little optimization I am sure that in the future we will be able to see flash content from any site on iDevices without problems and the experience of browsing the page or watching a movie will be as it can be good.
