In March 2011, Apple launched the Smart Cover covers, very useful accessories for the iPad 2 tablets. Soon the first clones of poor quality appeared, but recently the Smart Case cover made especially for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablets was launched. Although the cover is not officially made by Samsung, the company that manufactures and sells it with Samsung products in Samsung stores in South Korea (along with other accessories for Samsung products) is run by a grandson of the CEO of Samsung.
The company that produces the Smart Case is called Asymode and I think there is no doubt in anyone's mind that these cases are simply copied from the Smart Cover. It is true that a product launched on the market can be manufactured in various forms by others, but Smart Covers were patented by Apple and I suspect that Smart Cases will soon be removed from the market. Unfortunately, the Koreans prove something that I did not expect, they are as inept as the Chinese and they do not manage to make original products but they copy others. I will not go into the connection between the CEO of Asymode and the CEO of Samsung because it is pointless, if you have read that paragraph you can make up your own mind about how close the collaboration between the 2 companies is.
