iPad 3 concept and John Gruber about iPad 3 with Retina Display

O magazine from Brazil made a mockup of the iPad 3 tablet which essentially resembles an iPhone 4 terminal but has a curved glass back, Retina Display, repositioning antennas, stereo speakers, LED flash, a 5 megapixel camera capable of filming in 1080P format, HD front camera and a thickness of only 7.4 mm. The concept is very interesting but from my point of view it is far from reality because I don't see such a radical change from Apple and I don't think we will ever see a glass screen on the iPad. Here you can find one presentation 360° of the concept.

Leaving aside the concept, I will tell you that John Gruber published last night an article in which he talks about the way in which online publications are displayed on the iPad tablet. He criticizes the way the publications organize their websites, but he makes a very interesting remark in which he specifies that the websites of these publications will look terrible on the retina screen of the iPad 3 tablet. John Gruber does not make predictions, he only speaks when he has information sure, so iPad 3 seems to be the tablet that will bring us Retina Display, now it remains to be seen if the launch will take place next year in the spring or at the end of this year. I, for one, am betting on the spring of next year.

Resolution independence. These magazines and newspapers that render each "page" as a static 1024 × 768 image are going to look like utter ass on the iPad 3's 2048 × 1536 retina display. Plus, it's the fact that these pages are rendered as static images that makes the issues such gargantuan downloads.
