Mac OS X Lion can be reinstalled directly from the Internet through the Recovery System

Those from 9to5Mac managed to obtain a screenshot showing the information about Mac OS X Lion received by Apple Care employees from Apple stores. Among these, the most important is the new Recovery System for Mac OS X Lion which will allow us to install the operating system directly from the Internet from the Recovery System using of course an Internet connection. To enter the Recovery System we just have to press Command + R at boot, the Mac will enter Recovery and from there we will be able to choose to install the entire operating system from the Internet.

The functionality of the new Recovery System is not limited to this option because we will be able to install a backup from Time Machine or we will be able to check, delete, repair or redistribute the hard disk using the same system. The new functionality is very interesting but also very important because Mac OS X Lion will only be available in the Mac App Store, so there will be no DVDs in stores and a reinstallation involves reloading the operating system. Such a process will prove to be very laborious because downloading more than 3 GB of data through an Internet connection takes a long time.

Alternatively, we will more than likely have the possibility to make USB sticks with Mac OS X Lion to highlight this process, but the possibility to install everything via the Internet directly from the Recovery System is really important.
