The first images of the white model of the iPod Touch 5G?

Today, the first rumors appeared indicating the possible release of a white model of the iPod Touch and those from 9to5Mac they managed to get hold of some images in which it is assumed that we have presented the new device. We are not talking about an iPhone 4 terminal because we have the camera positioned exactly in the middle of the device, so we are talking about a case for an iPod Touch terminal. The big question is whether this device will be launched now or if it is a model that Apple wanted to launch but didn't get around to.

Looking into the current third calendar quarter, Kuo said checks indicate Apple has placed orders for white iPod touch models that are expected to go into mass production sometime in late August, but he added that the build plans for those models reflect few, if any, distinguishable changes from the existing black models introduced last fall.

"It means no spec update of iPod touch this year," he said.

My opinion is that we are seeing for the first time the new face of the iPod Touch 5G and the case is white because it was only with the iPad 2 that Apple managed to perfect the process of coloring the case. This new device would have an A5 chip with performances almost similar to those of the iPad 2 and iPhone 5. Of course, no one can confirm that these images are really of the iPod Touch 5G, but the case looks interesting.
