Last evening, Apple launched a new one Update for the Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8 operating system. The new update solves some of the bugs of the version released a month ago by Apple in order to prepare the Mac OS X Lion installation process for all users. Considering that Mac OS X 10.7 has already been released, this is probably one of the last updates that Apple will release for the old version of the operating system, so it would be advisable to update to OS X Lion.
Here's what's new in last night's update:
- Transferring personal data, settings, and compatible applications from a Mac running Mac OS X Snow Leopard to a new Mac running Mac OS X Lion
- Certain network printers that pause print jobs immediately and fail to complete
- System audio that stops working when using HDMI or optical audio out
