The Apple company always takes care of its patent the inventions in order to be able to protect themselves against those who try to copy either the functions or certain elements of the design of their own products. In this idea, Apple introduced several applications to the patent and trademark office in the USA, through which it wanted to patent the MacBook Air, the iPhone 3G, the Apple Remote and the Apple Charger for batteries. Thanks to these Apple patents, it will be protected against Asian companies such as Samsung or HTC that have made a habit of "borrowing" design elements from Apple products.
