Samsung Galaxy S II sold over 5 million copies

Only 3 weeks ago we will announce you that Samsung Galaxy S II was sold in no less than 3 million copies worldwide. I'm coming today too I'll let you know that Samsung's device has collected over 5 million sales worldwide, a sales record for the Asian company. Samsung Galaxy S II managed to reach 3 million sales in just 55 days compared to the past 85 in the case of the Samsung Galaxy S terminal. Those from Samsung say that Samsung Galaxy S II will surpass the record of 10 million sales set by Samsung Galaxy S in less than 7 months and considering the current popularity this is as believable as possible. The company claims that the Samsung Galaxy S II is also the market leader in 10 European countries, but it does not present any statistics in this regard.

The Samsung Galaxy S II is currently the most popular Android smartphone and had very high sales, probably because it had no comparable competitor. iPhone 4 has been available for over 1 year on the market and most users want something new. If the iPhone 5 had been released in June, then maybe Samsung's sales would not have been so high, but this did not happen and Apple lost and Samsung gained a few hundred thousand users. Now Samsung is on the wave, but it remains to be seen how things will be after the iPhone 5 launch.

Considering the announcement from Samsung, it is very possible that Apple will have sold fewer smartphones than the Asian company in the last quarter and Samsung will become the largest smartphone producer.
