Rumor: iPhone 5 listed in mobile operator databases in 16 and 32GB versions

Although more than a month separates us from a probable launch of the iPhone 5, the future Apple terminal has already been listed in the databases of some mobile phone operators in Europe and South Korea. The image above would have been made for the listings recorded by the Korean operator KT Telecom that displays the new iPhone 5 using the code AIP5. Last year KT Telecom listed iPhone 4 using the API4 code and this year it switched to API5, but this does not guarantee that they will release the future iPhone terminal together with the rest of the countries. Last year iPhone 4 was not launched in South Korea in the first "wave" of launches, so it is very possible that this year the situation will not change.

Several European operators, probably from Germany, Great Britain and France, are starting to list the iPhone 5 in their own databases, so it is very possible to have the device available in the first half of September. If this rumor is to be believed, then the iPhone 5 will only be available in 16 and 32GB versions, so people who were expecting a 64GB version will probably be disappointed this year as well. It would not be abnormal for operators to list the iPhone 5 in their own databases from now on, but these listings are preliminary and the data in them could prove to be inconsistent with reality.
