The new MacBook Air series is popular among customers, it is unavailable in some American stores

Apple seems to have "struck the blow" with the new MacBook Air series because some of the stores of Apple resellers have remained without units in stock after launch. It seems that the sales were so good that the stocks ran out very quickly and Apple has not yet managed to resend enough units to its partners' stores. In Apple stores, there were no problems with stocks, but according to an American analyst, the current version of the MacBook Air is selling very well in the US and it seems that things are getting better and better for the company from Cupertino.

Overall, we sense a bit more of a preference for the higher-end 11-inch models but the 13-inch also seems to be popular0 Netting this out, the MacBook Air has truly redefined the laptop computing market, in our view, and we expect this momentum to continue. In our view, successful Apple launches are key in driving the halo effect that drives incremental demand for other Apple products.

Apparently, the 11-inch models were the most popular, but the 13-inch models were not left out either. It seems that the Back to School promotion "gave courage" to customers to enter an Apple store and purchase a new MacBook Air model at promotional prices. The current series has the new Sandy Bridge platform, which is more powerful than the old one implemented in the MacBook Air series launched last year, but it is also more powerful than the one in the MacBook Pros launched in the first part of 2010.

In conclusion, MacBook Airs are selling very well at the moment and I think that for a long time Apple has not had problems with stocks for a Mac.
