Last night Apple launched iOS beta 5 5 for developers of applications for iOS 5. The new version of the operating system brings quite a lot of news, but one important one for those who jailbreak is related to redsn0w which no longer works with the beta version 5 of iOS 5. I cannot confirm iH8sn0w's statement personally because I don't have iOS 5 beta 5 installed, but I've seen it done by others who have the beta version of the operating system installed. Starting with iOS 5 beta 3, Apple made changes in the operating system dedicated to developers for the time being, so the Dev Team was forced to update the redsn0w program to continue jailbreaking.
Unfortunately right now MuscleNerd is busy with DEFCON 19, a conference for IT security experts and more, so we have to wait until he comes back and updates redsn0w 0.9.8 beta.
