     Just one day after WWDC 2011 Steve Jobs it appeared in front of the city council of Cupertino to present a project very bold representing the company's new headquarters. We are talking about a structure that some have compared to a spaceship, a structure capable of housing no less than 20.000 employees, that is, almost half of the total number of Apple employees. In this project we have presented the detailed plans of several parts of the construction process of the new Apple headquarters in Cupertino and according to these plans the new building would have:

  • a total area of 850.000 m²;
  • an auditorium capable of hosting 1.000 people;
  • a fitness center;
  • research centers on an area of approximately 90.000 m²;
  • a very interesting multi-storey car park.

    The headquarters should be put into use in 2015, so Apple has to sell a few hundred million iDevices to cover the construction costs. The final result is very interesting, it will probably be a new tourist attraction for the city of Cupertino and it will be interesting to see how the opening ceremony will be organized and now we hope that Steve Jobs will get to see it built. Here find all the construction plans presented by Apple.
