Apple cancels the launch of the iPad 3 in 2011

Rumors regarding the launch of the iPad 3 began to appear as early as June of this year and so far they have confirmed the launch of this tablet with Retina Display and new hardware aimed at "professionals". It seems that Apple planned to build between 6-8 million iPad 3 tablets by the end of this year, but the company's plans were overturned by the screen manufacturers. Apparently, the Retina screens made by the manufacturers did not meet Apple's standards, having a low yield rate, that is, the number of broken screens produced on the assembly line was much too high, so the launch of the iPad 3 was postponed.

US-based tablet PC players Apple has recently canceled its iPad 3 supply schedule for the second half of 2011, forcing other tablet PC brand vendors that are set to launch same-level product to compete, to follow suit and delay their launch; however, the supply of the iPad 2 in the second half will still be maintained at 28-30 million units, according to sources from the upstream supply chain.

That said, the iPad 3 it will come soon at the beginning of 2012, as everyone knew from the beginning, and not in the second part of this year. My opinion is that this rumor was launched just out of someone's idea to stand out because the iPad 2 is selling too well now to be replaced. In the end, a rumor was born out of nothing, it "survived" for a few months and now it died out of nothing, but my opinion is that Apple never intended to launch iPad 3 this year.
