New phishing attacks targeting MobileMe account holders

Apple will soon start a massive process of migrating MobileMe accounts to iCloud, but it seems that certain hackers try to take advantage by the naivety of Apple customers to steal their confidential card data. In the last few days, several owners of MobileMe accounts received phishing emails in which they were told that they had to register a new account for iCloud and the process itself involved re-entering all the data to make online payments.

Dear MobileMe member,

Please sign up for iCloud and click the submit button, you'll be able to keep your old one
email address and move your mail, contacts, calendars, and bookmarks to the new service.

Your subscription will be automatically extended through July 31, 2012, at no additional charge.
After that date, MobileMe will no longer be available.

Sincerely,

The Apple Store Team

The emails seem to be sent by Apple, but in reality they come from a group of hackers who have only one goal, the theft of users' payment data. If you received such emails and ignored them, you might end up without significant amounts of money from your account.
