One year of iPhone 4 – zaone's take

Exactly one year ago we publish this article in which I reviewed the iPhone 4 terminal newly purchased from outside Romania. At that time, Orange had not launched it yet, other operators were still negotiating with Apple, and for me it arrived 2 months after the official launch in the USA. There you have my first important review made for zaone.ro (at that time) and I thank all those who read and appreciated it. We fast forward a year later when everything looks the same, both the devices and the boxes, but the terminal has iOS 5 beta 6 and the user has a big "of".

When I bought the device I expected to have problems with the signal considering that the coverage of the bottom left part of the device leads to the loss of 3G connectivity, but fortunately so far I have not lost any calls and "Antennagate" turned out to be an exaggeration and nothing more. Although I'm happy that I don't have problems with the signal, I soon discovered a problem that made me want to lose signal when I cover that area and lose a call sometimes. The problem I discovered is related to the Home button that does not respond correctly to commands and makes it extremely difficult to use the terminal, but I noticed that many of you are complaining about the exact same problem with the iPhone 4. Unfortunately, we are talking about a physical defect on which we can only "cover" with a tweak called Activator that takes all the functionality of the Home button and transfers it to the screen.

Fortunately, I didn't have any accidents with the terminal, everything looks exactly as it did when I took it out of the box, although at one point I dropped it from a considerable distance on the floor and to my surprise, nothing cracked on it. I would like to say that the iPhone 4 is the best phone I have had so far, but this honor goes to the iPhone 3GS which has lasted for 2 years and has no problem with any button.
