Vodafone Italy and Deutsche Telekom announce the launch of iPad 2 in their own stores, will Romania follow?

The iPad 2 tablet has been available on the market for almost half a year, but in Europe Apple decided to sell it mainly through authorized resellers or through its own stores and less through mobile phone operators. In Romania and other European countries, the tablet is only available at Apple stores/authorized resellers, but this will soon change. Vodafone Italy si Deutsche Telekom they plan to offer the tablet through their own stores in the near future.

The information itself is not very important for those who own a tablet, but those who have not purchased one will have the opportunity to do so from their own operator and at a subsidized price. If the European operators will offer the tablet in stores then it won't take long until Orange and Vodafone Romania will do the same, but I for one expect the subsidized prices to be quite high. I expect that with a subscription of 7/11€ (such as those for the iPad) you will have to take at least 3 - 400€ out of your pocket for the cheapest model of the iPad 2 3G.
