iPhone 4S/5 thin, light, with a larger screen, a revolutionary design but difficult to produce

complementing information from the New York Times in relation to the iPhone 5, those from 9to5mac they claim that they have information from sources close to Apple's partners who claim that the iPhone 5 does indeed have a larger screen, a "revolutionary" design, it is thinner and lighter than the iPhone 4 but still firmer and more pleasant to the touch than the Galaxy the S's. Unfortunately, the new device together with another one with a similar design are giving trouble to Apple's partners who have quite big problems in producing enough units for the official launch.

It appears that the tear-drop shaped iPhone 5 with larger screen and thinner, rounder body is seeing continued design and production delays, at least on one assembly line (Apple has multiple production sources – Pegatron, Foxconn, etc). We therefore think that iPhone 5 will be delayed slightly at the very least and may see shortages all the way into 2012.

The iPhone 5 itself is a sight to behold, we've been told. It is impossibly light, yet much firmer than Samsung Galaxy phones which are backed in plastic. The camera rivals point and shoot cameras and will be a major marketing point for this device.

If Apple really has problems with the production of the new terminals, then it is very possible to witness a situation similar to last year when the iPhone 4 was produced only in the black version and the launch in the second wave of countries was postponed. Unfortunately, Apple is "known" to have problems covering the demand on the market for the iDevices produced, and unfortunately, in the case of the iPhone 4S/5, things could be the same if the information coming from China is true.

On the other hand, it seems that the iPhone 5 will have a camera, probably of 8 megapixels, clearly superior to those implemented in other smartphones, so Apple could repeat last year's history with the iPhone 4 and its 5-megapixel camera megapixels.
