Apple is worth more than...

Apple Think Different

    Apple recently reached a stock market capitalization of no less than 385 billion dollars, a figure that gives it the title of the most valuable company in the world based on stock market capitalization. Of course, in the real world this title is worth very little, but he gave birth a site which is meant to present in a humorous way the things that are less valuable than Apple. Based on the information provided there and of course based on the company's current market capitalization plus the value of the monetary reserve available in the world's banks, Apple is worth more than:

  • the entire industry of stores that sell clothing items;
  • the economy of the state of Singapore;
  • all illegal drugs sold in the world;
  • The Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Stephen King and Twilight franchises;
  • gross domestic product of Denmark;
  • the gross domestic product of Israel, Syria, Jordan and Lebanon together;
  • silver production for 10 years;
  • 3 of the largest pharmaceutical companies.

    And the list can go on of course. Take everything as a simple pamphlet and you will realize how much it matters to some what the stock market indices are worth.
