Apple will hold the iPhone 5 presentation conference in its own headquarters in Cupertino

Year after year, the Apple company presented its most important products in conferences held at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, but this year things will be completely different according to those from All Things Digital. They cite sources close to Apple who claim that we will see the iPhone 5 for the first time during a conference that will take place in the Apple headquarters in Cupertino. This is not the first conference held by Apple in its own headquarters, but it is the first time that it will reveal to the whole world an iPhone terminal from that very location.

This year things are going to be different. This year, Apple's holding its big iPhone media event closer to home. Sources close to the company say the demonstration — currently scheduled for Tuesday October 4, a date first reported by AllThingsD — will be held at Apple's campus in Cupertino, California. Why? That's not entirely clear. Perhaps the release date was too much of a moving target to risk booking a large space like Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA), which has hosted a number of big product unveils in the past. Perhaps, the company felt a more intimate venue was best for newly installed CEO Tim Cook's first media event.

The conference would take place on October 4, as I already told you this week, and Tim Cook would also present the device to the whole world. Of course, no one knows the reason behind the choice of the Apple headquarters to host the conference, but for now everyone is waiting for the invitations for the event to be sent to see when and where everything will be organized.
