Starting with iOS 4.x, Apple changed the method of displaying the zoom menu for photos by asking us to pinch to zoom instead of a double tap. This change generated confusion among users, many of them not knowing which buttons to press to zoom in the iOS Camera application. Zoomisback is a tweak that comes to solve this problem by changing the way in which the zoom of the Camera application is activated and instead of pinch to zoom we do a simple double tap and on the screen we have the slider that allows us to zoom.
The new iOS5 requires Pinch to Zoom in Camera.app, but with ZoomIsBack, you can show the slider with Double Tapping the screen.
ZoomIsBack works as soon as it is installed, so no settings need to be changed through any menu and you can download it for free from the BigBoss repo through the Cydia application.
