Some owners of iPad tablets cannot update to iOS 5, they receive error 1 during the restore process

The Cupertino company's iOS 5 has already been installed on 25 million iDevices, but some owners of iPad 3G tablets are still unable to install the new version of the operating system even though it has been available for more than a week in iTunes. Moreover, any attempt to restore leads to the impossibility of using the tablet because it remains stuck in Recovery Mode and without a SHSH for 4.3.5 it does not allow the restore. Those who fail to restore to iOS 5, even from DFU Mode, receive error 1 during the restore process, an error apparently related to the failure of an internal component of the tablet.

On the Apple discussion forums there are already 3 threads discussing this issue: 1, 2, 3 and for now all those who encountered it contacted Apple and were told that they had to exchange their tablet for a new one. Apple does not seem to have a solution for error 1 other than physically changing the tablet, so if you find yourself in this situation, you may have no choice but to send the tablet for warranty. In Romania, only Noumax.ro solves the warranty problems of those who do not have a receipt for the purchased iDevice, so it would be good to talk to them.

UPDATED: According to MuscleNerd, the fix recovery function a redsn0w solve the problems with error 1 that appeared during the restore process.
