Apple releases a new update for MacBook Pro

After the launch of a new series of MacBook Pro in the course of yesterday, Apple has launched today an update for the graphics card drivers of its products. With this update, Apple tries to solve the problems that led to Mac crashes or performance problems when running games or applications that used the graphics card for processing. The update is of course available through Software Update and all you have to do is open the application from the Preferences menu and let the Mac do its job.

Apple has determined that a small number of MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2010) computers may intermittently freeze or stop displaying video lesson on the built-in display or on an external display connected to the MacBook Pro. In this situation, you may also see a restart warning message before the video is lost or the display turns black or gray. Affected computers were manufactured between April 2010 and February 2011.

Alternatively you can download the new update directly from the Apple website.
