After photographic demonstration done this morning by MuscleNerd for iPhone 4S, now the same Dev Team member shows us that iPad 2 can be jailbroken on iOS 5. For now the jailbreak solution is not 100% functional according to MuscleNerd and unfortunately we won't have it available very soon from the cause of the problems that need to be solved. The good part is that now we know it exists, it works both with the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2 tablet, but it remains to be seen when and how it will be launched.
In parallel with this jailbreak solution, a second one is being developed by the Chronic Dev Team. That jailbreak solution is untethered and uses no less than 5 exploits for iOS 5 and the Chronic Dev Team claims that Apple will not be able to close the vulnerabilities used in it very easily. Unfortunately, Chronic Dev Team did not present any evidence of their own jailbreak solution, but since Dev Team already offers this, we might see something similar from Chronic Dev in the next few days.
