Apple neutralizes the Devil Robber malware in Mac OS X

A few weeks ago we told you that a new type of malware affects Mac owners. Devil Robber is the name of the new malware and it was designed to "steal" the Mac's system resources along with any kind of data that users have saved on their hard drives. The problem with this type of malware is that it seriously affects the performance of Macs because it uses its resources to make virtual money for hackers, but the company from Cupertino managed to quickly solve the users' problems.

On November 1, Apple updated the malware definitions in Mac OS X so that Devil Robber is now present in them and when we try to install applications that have this malware in them, we will be warned by Mac OS about the problem. The update is done automatically by Mac OS X, so you don't have to do anything at all.
