DO NOT update to iOS 5.0.1 if you want untethered jailbreak!

See the message above? Sounds familiar right? Naturally, yes, because we hear it when an important version of iOS appears. Pod2G, the man who announced on Monday that he discovered an untethered jailbreak exploit for iOS 5, says that it is not good to update to iOS 5.0.1 because the exploit presented yesterday by Charlie Miller works very well on iOS 5. Apple will close it in iOS 5.0.1 and the problem is that through its the process of jailbreaking our iDevices can be simplified.

Now pod2g recommends us to use a broken version of iOS 5, which has battery problems, among other things, just to be able to jailbreak. I appreciate the work of these guys and I think they deserve praise, but this time what Pod2G says is absolutely stupid and illogical. If in order to jailbreak I will have to use a version of iOS that limits my ability to use the terminal due to bugs present in the operating system, then I say from now on that I will think very carefully if I use that jailbreak solution.

I'm sure that many think the same because battery life is extremely important and the iPhone 4S with iOS 5 does not offer users what they should. I hope that the Dev Team or the Chronic Dev Team will keep their head on their shoulders and not do something so stupid.
