Apple plans to solve the battery life problems on MacBooks

After the release of Mac OS X Lion, many users began to complain about problems with battery autonomy, Apple took note and is now working on a method to solve them. information comes from a user who reported battery autonomy problems to Apple and after performing some tests requested by a company technician, it was announced that an update will be available in the future and will solve the problem. Unfortunately, it is not known how long it will take until this update is released for Mac owners, so if you have such problems, you should arm yourself with a little more patience.

After a full charge on my 17 inch (MacBook Pro), I booted up this morning and it took 5% of the battery to boot up," user "DucatiMonster" wrote on Apple's forums on Monday. "It said 2:52 minutes left, and now 20 minutes later it says 1:33 left. I will be lucky to get a full hour out of this battery that got 8 hours a couple days ago.

At the last Genius Bar appointment, they said I needed to check-in my computer so they could diagnose the problem more deeply. It's a reasonable approach, but not for me. If I had an extra machine, I would do this, but as my (MacBook Pro) is my primary work computer and I can't live without it. Even with AppleCare, Apple suggested that I buy into the $499 Business Joint Venture Program so they might provide a loaner. Disappointing to be sure.

As you can see, and discussion forums Apple's are full of users who report such problems and if the number of those who complain is high, then Apple surely has people who deal with solving the problem. The only "unknown" is the date when the problem will be solved, but I assume that the new one Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 it will contain a fixed bug for it as well.
