3 million high-resolution iPad 3 tablets could be available for 2012 release

I was telling you yesterday that Apple's partners are already starting to receive the screens of the future iPad tablet and now we learn that 3 million such screens will be prepared for assembly into tablets at the beginning of 2012. rumors coming from Asia indicates that Samsung and LG have already delivered 1 million high-resolution screens to Apple, with another two million to be delivered by the end of next year. For now, it is not known what kind of resolution the screens will have, but since it is being talked about, there is a chance that Apple will change the resolution from iPad 3, but not necessarily to Retina Display.

Samsung Electronics, LG Display and Sharp reportedly shipped a total of one million units of high-resolution flat panels for next-generation iPads to Apple in October and will ramp up shipments to two million units in November, according to industry sources. Judging from the shipments of panels and related parts, Apple's contract maker Foxconn Electronics is expected to start assembling the new iPads in January 2012, said the sources.

The recent rumors regarding the launch of the iPad 3 gave as certainty the implementation of a retina screen in the future Apple tablet, but of course there are no 100% reliable confirmations to support these theories. If Apple will change the resolution of the tablet, it is possible to find a method to increase it together with the number of pixels per inch but without doubling it. I think that 2012 must bring an iPad tablet with a better resolution considering that most Android tablets already offer this and Apple does not.
