Apple has indeed implemented the same A5 chip in the iPhone 4S, but the processor of the device seems to have a frequency of only 800 MHz and the information comes after some benchmarks made to the terminal, benchmarks whose results show that the iPhone 4S is slower than the iPad 2, so it also has a weaker processor.
