iPhone 4 untethered jailbroken on iOS 5.0.1!

A few days ago I told you that Pod2G is working on a new untethered jailbreak solution for our iDevices and that it will theoretically be compatible with iOS 5.0.1 or with all iDevices. He promised to work on this compatibility and for now he managed to make iPhone 4 with iOS 5.0.1 compatible with his new untethered jailbreak solution. He claims that all those who have an iPhone 4 can quietly update to iOS 5.0.1, but here we do not include the owners of iPad 2/iPhone 4S tablets, for whom it is not yet known which version of iOS will be jailbroken with this new solution.

After the iPhone 4, the iPod Touch 3G/4G and the iPad 1 tablet will be jailbroken on iOS 5.0.1, nothing is said about the iPhone 3GS, but I assume this is because an untethered jailbreak solution for this device is easier to develop. If you are thinking of updating to iOS 5.0.1 on your iPhone, I recommend it to save the SHSH with iFaith first and then do it a custom ipsw with sn0wbreeze to keep the baseband intact in case you need decoding. ultrasn0w is not compatible with iOS 5.0.1 so you will need it of this tutorial to unlock in its base.
