At the beginning of November I informed you that Orange is the first operator in Romania which offers free internet in the Bucharest metro. Throughout the month of November, over 82.000 customers connected to the Orange Romania antennas in the metro and generated an increase in monthly traffic by approximately 40%, all thanks to the promotion run by the company. Unfortunately, on December 31, the promotion will end, but the good part is that the 3G internet remains active in the metro stations, but also on the section between them, on almost the entire subway route in Bucharest.

In order to invite people to use the free internet offered during this period, Orange Romania has installed advertising materials in most metro stations, but in the Unirii 2 station you will find something very interesting. Orange installed a panel consisting of 10 screens on which the messages of those who comment on the operator's Facebook page are displayed. Above each chair in front of the panel there is a sensor that detects movements and when you sit on a chair the message above you will change automatically. The idea is extremely interesting and if you want your message to appear there, you just have to access it Orange Romania's Facebook page and publish a decent message.

The promotion for free internet in the metro will end on December 31, 2011, but after that you can benefit from free internet via Wi-Fi HotSpot-urilo in the Old Center of Bucharest and in several other locations in the capital and more information find here.
