If you haven't noticed yet, the untethered jailbreak solution for the iPhone 4S and the iPad 2 tablet won't be released this year, but will only be available next year. Pod2G, Dev Team or Chronic Dev Team have not made any announcement in this regard, but it is as clear as possible that they will not work on New Year's Eve to bring us the new method of untethered jailbreak to the most desired devices by to Apple. We can expect this solution to be available in the first days of 2012 and when you can use it I will let you know.
The same is true for the untethered jailbreak solution for iOS 5.
