Apple could launch a 42-inch HD TV

It seems that this year a TV made by Apple will be the focus of everyone's attention and the newspaper USA Today provides some details about the product that will be launched by Apple. Everything comes from sources close to the company, so it's unreliable information, so take it with a big dose of mistrust. It seems that Apple is currently going to start producing a 42-inch TV, while a 50-inch TV is being tested by the company's engineers in Cupertino.

Apple is said to be looking at a 42-inch or larger LCD TV with built-in Wi-Fi. Inside the locked-down studio of Jonathan Ive, senior vice president of industrial design at Apple, there's a slick 50-inch TV, according to the source who worked at Apple. But a major roadblock for Apple along the way has been securing the content needed to make an iTV successful. The problems Apple is having securing content deals were described in an interview with a person who worked in the Apple TV group and verified by two television industry sources. All declined to be identified because of the confidential nature of the talks. They say Apple has been unable to cut deals that would let it offer first-tier TV network programs for an à la carte iTunes TV service. That's seen as a key element to launching a revolutionary iTV.

Although a TV made by Apple would attract a lot of attention, it cannot be successful without some key elements and one of these is the special content offered for it. Apple has to conclude contracts with certain US media companies and it seems that there are some problems here, but I for one believe that Apple will solve them soon and offer its customers premium content for the new product. Unfortunately, this will only be beneficial for customers in the US who will probably have TV shows, series, movies available at low prices on their own TVs, but the rest of the customers around the world will not have access to them.

Regardless of how Apple will think about the TV, it is clear that such a product is in the works at the American company, Steve Wozniak being convinced that we will see an Apple TV in the true sense of the word released this year or next year. I personally think that the TV will be successful in the USA and the countries where Apple will be able to offer content, but in Romania there will be extremely few people interested in it.

"I do expect Apple to make an attempt," says Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, "since I expect the living room to remain a center for family entertainment, and that touches on all areas of consumer products that Apple is already making."

Apple sa aiba grija sa nu ajunga in situatia samsux ( Phone? -? – Tablet ?

Exemplu, microsoft are sediu in romania, ai support sinproduse in romana..
