It took Apple a few months to implement disable function of the 3G network on the iPhone 4S, but they did it in iOS 5.1 beta 3 released this evening. The iPhone 4S was the only Apple smartphone that did not include this function and it is gratifying to see that Apple has finally understood that it is good to give users the option to disable a 3G connection when they do not need it. You will have this option as soon as Apple releases iOS 5.1 in iTunes, that is, somewhere in at least 2 weeks.
