Tim Cook earned 377 million dollars in 2011 in the form of compensation

Although he held the position of CEO of Apple for only almost 5 months in 2011, Tim Cook succeeded to collect in his accounts no less than 377 million dollars from compensations offered by the company he works for. The nearly 400 million dollars come in the form of shares that the president of the company from Cupertino can only sell in a few years, as well as his annual salary. Even so, Tim Cook's fortune is almost half a billion dollars if we take into account only the shares received this year from Apple and the received a few years ago and available for sale from March.

Tim Cook is of course the best paid member of Apple's management team, while Steve Jobs earned a modest dollar from his position as CEO.
