Today the Apple company is going to hold a conference at the Guggenheim museum in New York and it seems that the iBooks 2 and Pages '12 applications could be presented by Eddy Cue. The iBooks 2 application could also work on Mac OS X Lion, which is a great advantage for book publishers because it greatly expands their distribution market. In addition to a version for Mac OS X Lion of the iBooks application, we may also witness the release of Pages '12, but also the announcement of the possibility to rent books, a service that not many expected to receive from Apple.
