Absinthe, the new untethered jailbreak solution for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 has been launched and some of you are wondering if through it you can activate an iPhone 4S terminal that is coded on a Romanian or foreign network. Unfortunately the answer is NO, you cannot activate your terminal using Absinthe because the device must already be activated and must have already entered the system to be able to use the jailbreak solution. In the image above, you have proof that Absinthe does not activate and it would be better not to rely on it for such a thing.
Absinthe does not activate iPhone 4S terminals because there is no unlock solution for them and theoretically the Chronic Dev Team thought that no one would need it. The Dev Team is going to release redsn0w in the near future and with their program you may be able to activate an iPhone 4S terminal, but no one can guarantee this.
