CamSlideshow adds a button on the iPad to activate the camera from the Lockscreen

CamSlideshow is a new tweak published last evening in Cydia that allows owners of iPad 2 tablets to activate the camera directly from the Lockscreen, just like in the case of iPhones with iOS 5 installed. The new tweak replaces the slideshow button on the iPad 2's Lockscreen with a button that automatically opens the iOS camera. Normally, any iPad tablet has a button on the lockscreen that, as soon as it is pressed, displays on the screen a slideshow of all the images available in the Camera Roll, but CamSlideshow permanently changes the functionality of that button and to return it to normal you must uninstall CamSlideshow.

Have you ever wished to somehow launch the camera app in your iPad 2 from the lockscreen like all the other iOS 5 devices? CamSlideshow is exactly doing this! From now on, when you will tap the slideshow button, you will see the Camera app is being opened, and not the normal slideshow.

CamSlideshow only works with the iPad 2 tablet that has iOS 5 installed and you can download it for free from Cydia from the BigBoss repo.
