RCS & RDS reduces the prices of international voice calls made from its own network by up to 70%

  Today the Romanian company RCS & RDS announced a 70% reduction in prices for voice calls made from a Digi Mobil subscription to fixed and mobile destinations in Europe. RCS&RDS had some of the lowest prices on the market for international calls, but now they have become even lower, but the discount only applies to Digi Mobil 2 Unlimited and Digi Mobil Associate subscriptions. Until September of last year, I used an RCS&RDS subscription to make daily calls abroad, and then I paid 5 cents for calls to fixed networks and 12 cents for calls to mobile networks, but now the prices seem to have halved and you can see them below:

  • for fixed destinations in Europe – a single rate, 2 eurocents/minute (2.48 eurocents/minute, VAT included);
  • for mobile destinations in Europe – 3 unique tariffs depending on the area in which the destination country is included:
    • 3 euro cents/minute (3.72 euro cents VAT included) – Zone 1: Austria, France, Sweden, Turkey and Cyprus
    • 5 eurocents/minute (6.2 eurocents VAT included) – Zone 2: Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Great Britain, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Hungary
    • 7 eurocents/minute (8.68 eurocents VAT included) – Zone 3: Belgium, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Luxembourg, Poland, Slovak Republic, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Iceland, Macedonia

  Combining the offer of fixed/mobile telephony with that of fixed and mobile internet, RCS & RDS is currently one of the operators with the best prices on the market, but unfortunately with not very good coverage in terms of mobile internet and voice services.

Since February 2012, RCS & RDS has reduced and unified the rates for calls originating from its fixed and mobile network to other fixed and mobile destinations in Europe for most subscriptions. Both new and current customers of RCS & RDS benefit from the discount.
