Apple releases EFI Firmware updates for all Macs released in 2011

During the last evening, the Apple company released a new EFI Firmware update for all Macs released/updated during the last year. Mac Mini, iMac and MacBook Pro/Air have since last night an EFI Firmware update available and it brings for users the resolution of problems related to HDCP authentication after a reboot and those with the boot section of OS X when a USB stick is used . All updates can be installed through the Software Update system directly from the Preferences application of OS X.

This update improves the reliability of booting from the network, addresses an issue that can prevent HDCP authentication after a reboot, and resolves an issue with boot device selection when a USB storage device is hot-plugged.

From here you can download each update separately: Mac Mini, iMac, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air.
