According to a new image published today by a Chinese website, the iPad 3 tablet would be 0.81mm thicker than the current iPad 2 tablet. In the image above we have a comparison of some measurements made for the cases of the two tablets and you notice that the iPad 2 has a thickness of only 8.69mm, while the supposed case for iPad 3 would have a thickness of only 9.5mm, so there would be a difference of 0.81mm between the two tablets. Unfortunately, we are only talking about an alleged iPad 3 case and not about the tablet, so it is not known how accurate these measurements are.
A week ago I introduced you this comparison between the casings of the two tablets and then a slight difference is observed between the two casings, the difference apparently confirmed by the above measurement made by another website with a different casing.
