Last year I told you that the Japanese mobile phone operator NTT Docomo is working on the development of a battery capable of being fully charged in just 10 minutes. From October until now, the operator has also improved its technology at Mobile World Congress 2012 submitted "miracle battery" that in a single minute charges a phone enough to be used for several hours. The Japanese battery is made using lithium titanium oxide and is able to withstand a current of 5-6 amperes compared to only 0.5 amperes that an iPhone terminal now supports.

The Japanese invention is extremely interesting and extremely useful, but the problem is that the materials used by them are not that cheap. For now, the operator has not announced if it will launch a smartphone with such a battery in it in the near future, but I think that licensing the technology would bring it a much bigger profit in the long term.
