Last night Apple presented to the whole world the new iPad tablet and mentioned that iShight is the name of the camera incorporated in it. Until now, none of Apple's iDevices had a camera with this name, but last night's conference brought a change because now not only the camera in the iPad is called iSight but also the iPhone 4/4S cameras. The change is of course related to the way the company intends to promote its products worldwide and we can expect the new iPhone and future iPad tablets to include the same iSight camera.
Apple uses the name iSight only for cameras larger than 5 megapixels, so the iPad 2 and iPod Touches will not be presented as having this camera model.
