Here are the internal components of the new iPad tablet - constantly updated article

iFixIt flew to Australia to buy and disassemble the new iPad tablet and provide details in relation to all internal components of the new product. For now, only the new Retina Display of the tablet has been dismantled and it is manufactured by Samsung, but soon we will have information about the battery, the A5x chip, the baseband chip plus everything that can be found in the new device. We know for now that the tablet has the same 1 GHz dual-core chip and 1 GB RAM so there will be no surprises here, but I, for one, am interested in seeing how the tablet's battery looks.

The battery of the iPad tablet has a capacity of 11.560 mAh, 3.7V and 43 Whr, so the assumptions made previously are as valid as possible. The battery has a larger capacity, maintains the autonomy at the same level, but unfortunately it loads harder and heats up a bit more than usual.

The tablet contains a Broadcom BCM4330 802.11a/b/g/n chip that includes Bluetooth 4.0 and FM transmitter.

We now see for the first time the new A5X processor that "hides" a quad-core graphics chip and a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. The new chip is specially made for the iPad tablet and offers much better graphics performance.

There isn't much difference between the old and new version of the A5: an "x" in the name and an extra 0.2 GHz clock speed.
