I introduced you in the morning in this article a comparison between how RipTide GP and Shadowgun work on the iPad 3 and ASUS Transformer Prime but unfortunately neither of those games contained graphics specifically made for the iPad 3. Moreover, both games were produced in collaboration with Nvidia for the Android platform therefore contained additional graphic elements compared to the versions for iOS. Those from Slashgear thought of doing the exact same thing but this time using a game that was recently updated to include graphics for the iPad 3 tablet and its name is Asphalt 6. Although Gameloft has updated its game to offer iPad tablet owners 3 a pleasant experience, unfortunately the title does not contain graphic elements specially introduced for the tablet's quad-core processor, but only graphics redone for the screen's 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution.

Everything I presented above is also valid for Pinball HD and GTA III, games that, although they are specially made for iPad 2, are not designed to display complex graphic elements that the quad-core processor in iPad 3 could process smoothly. Unfortunately, none of the tests done between the iPad 3 and other Android tablets with the Nvidia Tegra 3 platform are relevant at the moment because only Sky Gamblers: Air Supremacy si Infinity Blade: Dungeons they are made to take full advantage of the iPad 3's processing power and these games are not available on the Android platform.

Maybe in the future there will be a game that both platforms have and that could offer a fair comparison between the quad-core processor in iPad 3 and Nvidia Tegra 3, but for now all comparisons are useless.
