iDevice.ro mini review: iPad 3, Orange Romania and browsing speed on the network with the fastest mobile internet

Orange has the fastest 3G mobile internet network in Romania at the moment and Apple's iPad tablet can take full advantage of everything our operator has to offer. The new tablet works in Orange Romania's 3G network mainly through HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA, and the second standard is the most important because only Orange has a network based on it. Using the iPad 3 tablet and an Orange Romania mobile internet card I managed to reach a speed of 24.29 Mbits and I think it is a speed record for an iDevice used on a mobile internet network in Romania.

The maximum speed reached was 24 Mbits, but depending on the time you use the Internet, you will reach average speeds of 15-20 Mbits during the day and a minimum of 11 Mbits in the evening when the network is congested. There is the possibility of reaching higher speeds in the cities where the network is freer, but in Bucharest that's all I managed to get for now and on no other network of any operator in Romania you will not reach maximums like the ones presented by me because the rest of the operators they have a speed limit of 21.6 and 14.4 Mbits.

At the moment, Orange subscriptions from the Colibri series offer users internet browsing speeds of up to 43 Mbits and you can find more details about them find out here. There is a very high possibility that Orange will announce new mobile internet subscriptions for the iPad 3 tablet tomorrow, but I do not have a reliable confirmation of this at the moment. If Orange will launch them then you might find some interesting deals for the iPad tablet and using it as a hotspot you will be able to share the internet from it to other mobile terminals or computers.
