Tonight, all the stores that officially sell the iPad tablet announced the prices and the date when the product will be available in the stores. In this article you have the official prices and the locations where you can find the iPad tablet starting today and now I will try to make a comparison between the iPad 3 prices in Romania and those in Europe. For comparison, we used the official prices from France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland and Belgium, the Apple stores there listing exactly the same prices for the iPad tablet. For the euro - RON conversion, we used an average exchange rate of 4.4200 RON when purchasing the euro, which is displayed by most major banks.

Notice from the table that for the first time we have correct prices for the new iPad tablet and the difference between the price here and the one abroad is given by: the exchange rate, the VAT in Romania which is on average 5% higher and the additional taxes paid at importing products into Romania. To be honest, now there is really no reason to buy the tablet from abroad because the difference is minimal and does not represent a good enough reason to make a trip to any of the countries mentioned previously to buy an iPad tablet.
If you still have relatives in Switzerland, then you will be able to purchase the tablet for about €50 cheaper, there being the lowest prices of iPad 3 in all of Europe.
